PLM AND INNOVATION: CAN PLM BE A FACILITATOR FOR INNOVATION?

ÖZ
 21. yüzyılda özellikle Endüstri 4.0 ve Dijitalleşmenin yaygınlaşmasıyla bütün dünyada yenilik, inovasyon ürün geliştirme süreçleri farklı bir boyuta taşınmıştır. Özellikle otomotiv, havacılık gibi sektörler başta olmak üzere global firmaların ihtiyaçlarının artması bunun yanında servis sağlayıcı firmalarının arasındaki kıyasıya rekabet sonucunda Ürün Yaşam Döngüsü Yönetimi (PLM) sistemlerinin sadece son birkaç yıl içinde, yüzyıldan daha fazla ilerleme kat ettikleri gözlemlenmiştir. Ülkemizde ise yıllarda tanınmaya başlayan PLM kullanımı gün geçtikçe yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada konuları irdelenmiş sürecine Dijital İkiz katkıları ile ilgili bilgi paylaşımı yapılarak farkındalık sağlanması amaçlanmıştır, Dünya’da Türkiye’de yapılan çalışmalar incelenmiş gelecekte neler yapılabileceği tartışılmıştır.
